Best hangover food in Korea? Gamjatang A.K.A. Haejangguk(감자탕, 뼈해장국)

What's up, guys.

Whenever I hang out with Non-Korean friends, I've got these questions a lot at the end of the night.

- What is the Korean hangover food?

- What do you eat when you have a hangover?

Okay, Here's the answer!👊

Obviously, there's a lot of options for hangover food but this is one of the popular and my favorite hangover foods in Korea. It is called, Pork rib hangover soup, Gamjatang a.k.a. Pork rib Haejangguk. In Korean, it's 감자탕 or 뼈해장국.

(Haejangguk is directly translated to hangover soup by the way.)

It's nutritious, health, and tasty.

Do you know what's even more surprising? It's only 6,000won($ 6) 

As you probably know, If you go to any random korean restaurant, you'll most likely get at least a few side dishes. This time, I got ssamjang(mixture of bean paste and pepper paste with grinded onions garlic and ect) for pepper, onion and two different kind of kimchi that's a good combination with hangover soup.

You'll get two chunk of pork ribs in the soup.

You dip it into the sauce(Soy sauce with Wasabi) and then go straight to your mouth.

It basically taste like... let me put it this way.

when you put'em in your mouth, you can not help but say out loud "Mammamia"

There's a lot of Gamjatang restaurants out there in Korea and taste can be little different but I guarantee that you'll have awesome food no matter where.

This time, I will give solid rating 8.5
