What’s up guys.👊
Pay attention. Now I’m about to save your life, if you are in/coming to Korea.
This would be valuable information for those non-Koreans who’s coming to Korea for whatever reasons.
When you are in different countries, literally everything is a question. Also, you will be facing moments where you have to communicate with somebody from small little things to emergency matters.
But wait, you don't speak Korean and they don't speak your language. At this point, you are using all the body languages to explain things but it doesn't seem to work out. Now you're scratching your head and questioning yourself, how do I ask?😕
It could be in a variety of situations.
- How do I explain a certain location to go to a Taxi driver or a stranger?
- How can I explain what I want for a cell phone plan in the cell phone agency?
- I’m in a trouble and how do I explain what happened to the police officers/911/Hospital.
Okay, Now this is where the magic happens,
Ready?
This is not sponsored from anyone but good things are to share. right?
There’s this thing called, BBB Korea, which is a non-profit organization with interpretation service on the phone for non-koreans in Korea.
Basically, they have tons of volunteers with 19 different languages.
(English, Chinese, Japanese, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, German, Portuguese, Arabic,
Polish, Turkish, Swedish, Thai, Vietnamese,Indonesian, Mongolian, Hindi and Malaysian.)
(I’m one of them with English btw.)
When you're in need to communicate with Korean people but you don't know the language,
then, make a call.
The volunteers will help you through the phone. 3 way call is also available.
They will always be there for you in any situation, 24/7 no matter where you are.
What you have to do is call the number 1588 5644 and choose the language and get help.
Good Tip huh?
